Main Objective of BREG
To promote rigorous empirical evidence and analysis of the results of projects’ impact to improve the climate for business development with an emphasis on the procedures for simplifying business regulations at the sub-national level, especially at the level of local governments in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Specific Objectives of BREG
The specific objectives of BREG are:

To validate rigorous methodologies for evaluating impact among the BREG members and corresponding counterparts. |

To analyze, compare, consolidate, and disseminate the results of impact studies – sponsored by BREG members. |

To build knowledge about the development impact of these projects and programs in order to improve the design and implementation of future projects and the creation of public policy. |
|
To explore and evaluate complementary initiatives in order to improve the business climate to favor the development of SMEs. |
